Be the One to Facilitate Moms Recovery Right After Birth

Topics

Day 1 / Friday, October 29th

Day 2 / Saturday, October 30th

Like you, we believe that preventive care should not wait.

Are you aware of hospitals in your community that offer rehab DAILY to patients after joint replacement yet do not offer therapy ONCE to patients after cesarean section?

Do you believe that mothers should be informed on how to enhance their function IMMEDIATELY after childbirth without having to wait and figure out things on their own?

Are you an occupational or physical therapist who is eager to improve maternal function NOW in order to avoid unwanted symptoms later?

You have the ability to establish a NEW STANDARD for maternal care by optimizing postpartum function directly in the hospitals or birth centers where patients begin their recovery.

Optimizing Maternal Outcomes with Acute Care Physical and Occupational Therapy

Immediate Postpartum Care for the First 6 Weeks

This 2-day course will give you

The confidence to work with postpartum patients immediately after a hospital-based vaginal or cesarean birth.

The skills to greatly impact the postpartum recovery process and shorten the hospital length of stay for your patients.

The techniques to enhance pulmonary and cardiac function in the high-risk pregnancy and postpartum populations.

The knowledge to improve postpartum outcomes to avoid wound healing complications after birth and prevent hospital readmissions.

The ability to reduce pain with specific hands-on techniques to address orthopedic issues like symphysis pubis dysfunction, tailbone injuries, pelvic and back pain.
